In Argentina, gathering on Sundays to share an asado—a barbecue cooked slowly over fire—is a cherished tradition. Families and friends come together around the table to eat, talk, and simply enjoy each other’s company. That’s the spirit we’re bringing to Oamaru.

Expect long communal tables, a generous feast of classic Argentinian dishes—slow-cooked meats, empanadas, fresh salads, and sweet treats—all made to share, just like we would at home.

Chef Pablo Tacchini brings the flavours of his homeland once again, creating a warm and festive afternoon that celebrates food, family, and connection.
